Recently I commented in a photographer’s forum that I have days when I feel confident in my abilities and other days when I feel that I am doing a disservice to the profession and I should just move out of the way and let the “real” artists work.  My comrades on the forum informed me that this oscillation seems to be par for the course. Tonight I stumbled upon a this blog and video.  Skip forward about a minute into the video to actually get  to the content.  It seems that the self-doubt is not something that is limited to me!  It helps to think in the terms he gives.  All photographers had to start somewhere.  I’ll bet da Vinci’s work from his first few years pales in comparison to his later works and I’ll bet he thought “Can  I do this?”
